THE PROCESS OF APPLICATION FOR A BLACK CSCS CARD IN THREE STEPS
Level 6 or 7 NVQ diploma in site management.

02 The assessment and the eligibility check.

After the initial assessment proceed by Wataha’s assessor, you’ll be provided with the workbook to complete within the deadline of 6 months

03 CITB Managers and Professionals Health, Safety and Environment Test.

Make sure you have the test passes in the CITB center. It’s a requirement to have a valid HSE test ( from the last 5 years) when applying for a new CSCS card.⁠

04 Apply for a CSCS card.⁠
Combine the NVQ and the HS&E test to apply online for a black cscs card in the CSCS card center. Apply here.   Please allow up to 14 working days to proceed your qualification by CITB and CSCS center. All successful applicants will receive your CSCS card via post.

Do I need anything else to apply for a Black cscs card?

As with all CSCS cards, the CSCS Black Card requires you to pass a CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test, also known as the CSCS Test. The Health, Safety and Environment Test for Managers and Professionals (also known as the MAP test) is a specific test for managers who are working in construction. This test assesses your awareness of important health and safety factors on a construction site and your roles and responsibilities within these as a manager.
