The Level 6 & 7 NVQ diplomas are for everyone who works in a senior management roles in construction. These qualifications enable you to apply for a Black CSCS card.
The NVQs give learners the opportunity to develop technical skills and to recognise existing management skills. During the course, each learner will demonstrate achievements of all of the learning outcomes and deliver assessment criteria for each unit. As an industry standard we recommend achieving a SMSTS Training alongside your manager card for the full professional recognition.

After the initial assessment proceed by Wataha’s assessor, you’ll be provided with the workbook to complete within the deadline of 6 months
Make sure you have the test passes in the CITB center. It’s a requirement to have a valid HSE test ( from the last 5 years) when applying for a new CSCS card.

As with all CSCS cards, the CSCS Black Card requires you to pass a CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test, also known as the CSCS Test. The Health, Safety and Environment Test for Managers and Professionals (also known as the MAP test) is a specific test for managers who are working in construction. This test assesses your awareness of important health and safety factors on a construction site and your roles and responsibilities within these as a manager.
